Brief Resume:

Basil Fitch is a former long serving alderman and he has served on both St. Leonards and Launceston City Councils through a period of amalgamations. In August 2012 he called for a stripped down model of civic governance in Tasmania. In recent years he has been a careful observer of Launceston’s council operations ands a strong advocate for meaningful council accountability
